Sheila Holder-Irvine is a registered Speech-Language Pathologist with the College of Audiologists and Speech Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO). Her background education includes an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Waterloo, majoring in Honours Psychology where she was awarded on the Dean’s List of Honours. In addition, she has a Master of Health Sciences in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Toronto. Sheila is a member of The Ontario Association of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists (OSLA) and Speech-Language & Audiology Canada (SAC).

Sheila prides herself in her passion to deliver evidence-based Speech-Language Pathology services within the community of Orangeville and surrounding area. She has special interest and experience in providing communication assessment, treatment, and consultation for children with Autism Spectrum Disorders, Down Syndrome, ADD/ADHD, Motor Speech Disorders, Cleft Lip and Palate, Genetic Disorders, and other complex disorders impacting on communication. In addition, Sheila is experienced in treating adults and has a strong interest in providing communication services to adults recovering from Stroke or Acquired Brain Injury.

Since 2002, clinical practice has focused on helping local children and adults make measurable communication gains in producing speech sounds, language development or rehabilitation, and reading and writing abilities. Services have been provided for play and social development, cognitive-communication deficits, social pragmatic problems, voice quality issues, and stuttering difficulties.
